Text Test

Text and BW images can be deceiving. Fonts can prove to be illegible.

Manga Studio Toned Output

As I want to use Manga Studio for my upcoming Boudica story, I am looking at a 72 dpi web output here to see how it translates online. Although this image has been posted before, it is the sizing ratio and style I am most interested in.

More BW figure studies -

Frazetta Rally - Dragon Duel

This was once a failed painting. I love being able to reork in digital medium to revise, review and REPAIR!!! The model was damaged and his left arm and leg was too small - a mesh deformation I could not fix. I think it works okay here. Thank God for Painter and the ability to work in suggestion and shadow.

Frazetta Rally - Fallen Angel

I've already posted a variation of this on this site earlier. here it is reworked for the contest.

Frazetta Rally

Renderotica, an adult 3D website, is sponsoring a tribute to master artist Frank frazatta and I put together six paintings to honour his birthday last Feb. 7. He has a museum of his work in Pennsylvania. Check on 'Rotica if you aren't freaked out by XXX material. This stuff I am posting is mild compared to some of the fellow artists working online there. Their Premier gallery (a paid site) is awesome so I hear.

From Lenswork 56

This is something to remember every single day.

Revelation Of Hunger II

Decayed Beauty III

Traditional figure studies and application of tones and textures continue to be an experimental and experiential part of my process. Audiences worldwide continue to comment and contact me about this process of seeing.

Lion Attack

The work of Boris and Frazetta as a teenager was a source of great inspiration. Now I am able to work in their respective genres thanks to new digital technologies.

Nude Study I

Weston and the entire Early California photo movement F64 had always resonated with me. My photo and my 3D work reflect that influence.

Stems II

More tribute work to Weston

The work of Edward Weston has always inspired me. Here is a small tribute to his artistry.
