Spider Girl

Starting with random images an ideas, I devised this piece through stock shots and the like. Teaching a new class at CCC about VFX has reawakened my interest in compositing and digital manipulation. I will be using matte paintings for my film, "The Defiled" and these exercises help hone my skills.

Photo Work Revisited

I've been anxious about not working and started to rework and re-examine my art as a digital composite. Collage and painting have always been a love of mine so today I busted out three images and it felt great. Here's an advance look at a new piece.

Robocop Prime Directives

Most people don't know that I directed this miniseries for The Sci-Fi Network. I was happy with the final result but it was sadly overlooked by the world. Who knows, with the way older titles are being rediscovered, I wonder hos long it will be before I am a sought after TV director again?!

Fish Eye Photography

I started to experiment with Fish Eye lenses prior to the shooting of my latest film. It's a very specialized look. I enjoy it though. It just has to be for the right work. I could imagine making an entire film with this process s it is so unique. It seems to capture the way I see the world sometimes.

Church Interior

My B/W fine art photography has fallen by the wayside as I make films and concentrate on art and teaching. I love making pictures.

Animated Film

Am determined at some point to make a CGI film under my own power. I can render, create and tell stories but animation timing seems to be beyond me. I think I shall concentrate on learning how to do this during the winter break at CCC.

Squid

Groboto is a new software for me to experiment with. I see it as a combination of fine art tool and a movie making opportunity. I shall update my work here as I streamline my website and use this as a repository for my art.
